Dr. Michael R. Stick

Pastor Michael was called to GloryLand Baptist church in January of 2016. He received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in December, 1981, at the age of 23 years.  Within a few months of his conversion, he felt a desire to attend college.  Little did he know that the desire he felt was the beginning of God's call for his life.  Under the guidance of his pastor he came to know the Lord's will for his life. He committed himself to full-time Christian ministry in the spring of 1983.

On October 5, 2012 his wife Veronica went home to be with the Lord. The past few years have been difficult for Pastor Michael and his 3 grown children, Jordan, Matt, and Katie.  By the grace of God he understands pain and grief and believes that God has used her death to make him a better, more understanding and compassionate pastor.

Pastor Michael has a heart that is burdened for the local church. He has been called to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry which includes developing believers and leading those who are lost in sin to Christ. His desire is to see people who need Jesus come to a personal faith in Him.

If you are looking for a loving church home or have questions concerning God's will for your life, Pastor Michael is ready to welcome you to the GloryLand Baptist church family or answer any questions you may have.

Deena has been serving as Worship Leader for GloryLand Baptist Church since February of 2013. Saved at the age of 10, she began playing piano on Sunday mornings when no one else in the small church was available and singing duets with her younger sister. She has served in the music ministry since 1992 singing on "Praise Teams" and leading the children's music in "Vacation Bible" school.

Deena's purpose for celebrating Jesus through worship and song is the most exciting service she could ever imagine. "Only God could have placed me here, I can honestly say I never imagined how He would work through me." As scripture states in Romans 8:28 All things work together for good to those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.  Her passion is to be His number one cheerleader.  "Just singing the words to a song is not enough. He deserves our praise, worship and honor. That's why we sing to Him…our Audience of One. I love Him with all my heart and I just can't help but sing to the King!"

GloryLand Baptist Church has been blessed with a small but wonderful choir comprised of people who just want to sing to the Lord. It is of course the "voice" from the "heart" that creates the "worship" experience. God hears our heart.
